ithin our more than 890 square miles of outdoors, Q Creek is home to some of the West’s most productive game habitat. We manage these natural resources to nurture and support our wildlife. Among the many native animals are bobcat, mountain lion, coyote, red fox and swift fox, both golden and bald eagles, many species of hawk, antelope, elk, the occasional moose, mule deer, white tailed deer, badger, beaver, muskrat, sage and blue grouse, Canadian geese, ducks, prairie dogs and more.

Q Creek Ranch has long been known for producing many trophy antelope, elk and mule deer. The Boone and Crockett record book entries testify to that. With the increasing herd sizes, hunters have an excellent opportunity to harvest the largest the ranch has to offer.

We understand the challenge of our big game and we handle the details while guiding you to a successful hunt. Because Wyoming has a draw system for its hunting privileges, we urge you to contact us early each year to plan a fall hunt with us. All our big game hunts are conducted from our very comfortable log lodge. Each guest room is complete with an individual bath and daily housekeeping services. We limit the number of guests so each hunting experience is the finest possible. Our hunting camp consists of an extremely comfortable modern log lodge. We take pride in the craft of understanding our game and understanding the requirements for hunting with skill and efficiency. We hunt as a celebration of living and sharing in the richness of nature.

Shirley Basin has one of the largest populations of white tail prairie dogs in the state. Sportsmen wanting to increase their marksmanship skills or enjoy an outing with friends can be accommodated with a custom-tailored prairie dog shoot. Accommodations are available for individual and corporate groups.
